Chiropractor Spine & Nervous System Health Talks & Spinal Analysis Assessment Sessions 101

Workplace wellbeing from the original wellbeing practitioners!

It all begins with top tips from busy Chiropractors on how the spine connects with every function and organ in the human body and how to maintain a healthy nervous system. Over 78 kilometres of nerves - our neurological operating system (nervous system) passes to and from the brain through the spine (acting a bit like a fuse box) controlling every cell, tissue, function and organ in the human body.

Once you realise this, you see that this is the master system regulating our entire physiological being - everything from our heart rate and breathing to our digestive system and hormones. EVERY FUNCTION AND ORGAN and it all goes through the spine.

The format for the sessions is deliberately simple, beginning with the Introductory talk which goes for approximately 30 minutes (usually 0930-1000) including a Q&A and all are welcome to attend. This presentation will usually focus as above on STRESS, posture and the relationship between the spine and the nervous system within the context of neurology and performance.

Employees are introduced to the ramifications of incorrect posture over time, the fundamentals of good posture and the best position for the spine and some simple exercises and a thorough introduction to the colourful world of Chiropractors.

The talk then rolls straight into upto 42 individual slots for posture assessments (usually 1000-1330). Top to toe posture is assessed for any evidence of anatomical imbalance. Habits connected with adaptations and any indications of misalignment in the joints in the spine are highlighted.

The assessments are part of the on-site sessions. They follow on from the talks and allow for a top level, initial ‘window to the spine’ - a good gauge of whether there is degenerative wear and tear occurring with habit over time and the case for prevention over time.
